Privacy Statement
Updated September 23, 2026
PayneXR is operated by Dakota Payne, doing business as PayneXR, a sole proprietorship based in Tennessee, United States.
This statement explains how PayneXR handles personal information when you visit paynexr.com, create an account, obtain a trial or license, manage a linked computer, or contact support. It also covers information sent to these services by the PayneXR desktop application.
Information we collect
- Account and security information: your email address, account identifier, account creation and sign-in information, and authentication information needed for passwords, password resets, and optional two-factor authentication. Our authentication provider processes login credentials.
- Purchases and licenses: trial and license status, selected plan, subscription dates and status, payment and invoice references, and records linking a purchase to your account. Stripe collects payment details and any billing information requested at checkout, such as your name and billing address. PayneXR does not directly store full card numbers or card security codes.
- Quotes and purchase orders: organization and contact names, billing and account emails, billing addresses, request details, and PO or exemption documents you provide. When you submit a quote request, the website stores your request details, uploads any selected tax documents to private storage, and emails the request and document links to Sales through Resend. We use these records to prepare quotes, review orders and exemptions, invoice customers, and administer licenses and payment records.
- Linked computers: device identifiers, computer names, application versions, and activation, deactivation, and license-check information associated with your account.
- Support information: your email address, messages, feedback, computer specifications you submit, and files you choose to upload, including screenshots, video clips, or diagnostic material. Uploaded files may contain information about you or other people, as well as file names and metadata. Please review them before sending and avoid including passwords, payment details, or unrelated personal information.
- Technical information: IP addresses and request information processed to deliver and protect the website and its services. The issue-report service stores a hashed IP identifier to limit abuse. Hosting and security providers may also process browser, device, request, and error information.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure accounts; verify email addresses and support password recovery; deliver trials, downloads, and licenses; manage device activations; process purchases and subscriptions; send essential account and service communications; answer support requests; investigate bugs and performance reports; improve the software; and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, and abuse. We also use relevant records to resolve disputes and meet applicable legal obligations.
Service providers and sharing
Our current checkout uses Stripe Managed Payments, with Stripe acting as merchant of record through Link. Stripe processes transaction and billing information for payment, tax compliance, fraud prevention, receipts, and transaction support under its own privacy notices. Purchase records may include checkout terms acceptance and the policy version associated with the purchase.
We use service providers to operate PayneXR. These include Supabase for authentication and account services, Stripe for payments and billing, OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare for website hosting and related infrastructure, Google Workspace for business email, and Resend for automated account email. Information is disclosed to these providers as needed for their functions. Downloads may be delivered through GitHub, which receives the connection information needed to serve them.
Support reports and private attachment links are delivered to PayneXR support through email. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect rights and security, or handle a business transfer, subject to applicable protections. External services have their own privacy notices, including Stripe, Supabase, Cloudflare, Google, and Resend.
Cookies and browser storage
PayneXR uses browser local storage and session storage to maintain sign-in sessions and password-recovery state. Service providers may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, payment processing, or security. You can clear or restrict browser storage through your browser settings, but doing so may sign you out or prevent some features from working.
Retention and security
How long information is retained depends on its purpose, including maintaining an account or license, handling support, retaining transaction records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Quote-document links expire seven days after upload finalization. Quote submission records are retained for up to seven days in the website service before becoming eligible for cleanup; related sales correspondence and transaction records may be retained longer. Unfinished uploads expire after one hour. Expired uploaded copies are eligible for automatic cleanup; Sales may retain downloaded exemption records with the transaction. Anyone with a private document link can access it before expiration, so share it only with the intended recipient. Expiring attachment links do not mean that related email correspondence has been deleted. Backups and provider records may be retained separately.
We use measures such as encrypted connections, authenticated account access, and restricted support attachment links. No online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own.
Your choices and requests
You can manage available account, security, billing, and linked-computer settings through your account. Providing support attachments is optional. To ask about your information, request access or correction, or request account or personal-information deletion, email support@paynexr.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Some records may need to be retained for security, transaction, dispute-resolution, or legal reasons.
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights to obtain a copy of your information, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to a data protection authority. Contact us to make a request or discuss these rights.
Children’s information
PayneXR is intended for broadcast production users, not for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support so we can investigate and address it. When submitting sports footage for support, share only what is needed to explain the issue.
Changes and contact
We may update this statement as the service or its practices change. Updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date, with additional notice where required.
